Donna L. DeConna is a Senior Associate with the Employment Law Team and represents individuals who have been wrongfully terminated, discriminated against, or harassed in the workplace. Her practice areas are employment law, medical malpractice, personal injury, and business litigation. She has been practicing law for over 20 years and has extensive experience with employment law claims in addition to business litigation. She is a member of the Florida Bar and California Bar.
Donna received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida State University. She received her Juris Doctorate from Nova University School of Law. She was Lead Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review and Editor of the Symposium on International Criminal Law. She was the recipient of the International Law Scholarship Award from the Florida Bar the year she graduated.
During law school she was hired by the defense as the only law clerk in the trial of United States v. General Manuel A. Noriega. She worked for criminal defense attorney Roy Black on notable trials before moving into the civil arena.
