Tom Whigham is an Associate with the Trial and Employment Team and primarily practices in the areas of labor and employment law as well as negligence, motor vehicle, premises liability, and other personal injury claims.
Tom graduated ranked 1st in his class in 2001 at the age of 16 and attended Simon’s Rock College of Bard that fall. After studying several disciplines, Tom discovered he had a passion for the law. He received his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law in 2013 and was awarded FSU’s Pro Bono Service Award for his efforts on behalf of disabled clients seeking Social Security Disability Benefits. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in October of 2013 and joined the Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel for the Fifth District in November of 2013. He represented the indigent in Civil and Criminal litigation in Orange, Seminole, and Volusia counties. Tom was a member of both the Seminole and Orange County Inns of Court from 2014 to 2016. He became a member of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 2016.
